1. Innovative offensive mind who continually has high ranked offenses year in and year out.
2. He’s only 38 years old and likely hasn’t even reached the peak of his coaching abilities.
3. His record speaks for itself. He’s a defense away from winning a NC or possibly multiple ones at OU.
4. Great recruiter who can consistently attract quarterback talent as he has at OU and has produced two HT winners in a short timeframe.
5. Made the playoff consistently which is a lot more than most coaches can say regardless of whether he won or not. Getting there isn’t exactly easy to do.
I mean… I could go on, but he’s accomplished more in a short timeframe than some coaches do in a decade.

How many coaches can say they are 0-3 in the CFP? Some wish they were 0-1. Which means they made it to the playoffs. Not many coaches have made it to the playoffs and he has done it 3 times!!

You realize this is really good right?
I wouldn't call it really good. Every other coach that's been more than twice has won a NC, whereas he doesn't even have a NC game appearance.

They have been competitive in basically every game other than the LSU one and no team was going to be competitive vs that team

Calculate that win percentage and then compare it to every other HC in college football.
It’s the highest win % at Riley’s stage in college football history since Rockne.

2 Heisman Trophy winning QBs

Normalize that record for competition level. Yes he is dominant in the Big 12 which means in any given year he faces one or maybe two teams who are equal to middle of the pack SEC programs.

But Riley won't win his conference when OU comes to the SEC.

Don't want Riley. He is trash. Every time he goes against a good, not great, but good defense he is shut down.

Who is available that has accomplished any more? Aranda looks great but what has he accomplished?
Tucker- nothing much yet?
Fisher so he beat bama, we almost did?
Only one out there that has accomplished anything is Meyer and kiffin? But do we want their issues?

Hasn’t taken over a program and implemented his blueprint for overall program. His first year he took over as Head Coach in June.
Taking over for Stoops was bound to be a breath of fresh air, and he obviously couldn’t make major changes when Stoops resigned in June that first season. For all the hype I would like to know if by now has he strengthened the overall program and put his finger prints all over it while doing so, or has he just taken Stoops plan and just took out the douchyness that Stoops and Little Stoops contributed and the Mary Kay spending.
If it’s the former i wonder why he would leave what is now his program and the way he likes it as Oklahoma will increase pay.

Because Oklahoma isnt going to make the playoffs within the next 10 yrs after joining the SEC.

No. My 4 year old knows Riley is the answer.
