Notre Dame’s regular season was over when Kelly left. The media was just pissed because the day it came out was because there was still an outside chance his ND team could make the playoffs. That and he left their darling ND for poor old LSU where everyone wears overalls and rides gators to work.

I DID appreciate him translating the twitter emojis-- as one who is not fluent in emoji.

Your fantasy would have been more believable if you said he rejected the offer BEFORE the egg bowl. Why wouldn't he use the rejection for momentum heading into the game?
