Do y’all honest to god believe he made a decision to move his entire ducking life and family in like 3 hours?

Clearly this has been in the works.

USC said frick it and pushed their chips all in and we folded.

And yet everyone here wanted him just 24 hours ago.

“ Was told USC wanted Lincoln Riley all along (big surprise) but didn't know if it could land him, especially if OU won Bedlam game. Once OU lost last night, opened a window and USC went all in, selling its access to top-tier talent, increased program support, lifestyle in CA.”

Kind of crazy if that deal was really put together in 12 hours

LSU passed on Lincoln

Lincoln will probably be living in the GOP oasis in Southern California, Orange County.

And still pay CA taxes and have a 3 hour commute each way to and from campus.

USC did in a couple hours what Woodward couldn’t do in 2 months. Pathetic.

Over the past nine months or so, Lincoln Riley had wholly focused the efforts of the #Sooners' offensive skill-position recruiting on the West Coast.

Sure makes you wonder.

Especially given that it wasn't difficult to foresee that USC vacancy coming open.

We didn’t offer. But if USC thought we did they may have started at the contract price.

My new next door neighbor (in Florida) just moved from San Diego - arguably the nicest city in CA. He said it has gotten so bad in the last year, they needed to move for the kids. He named your top three bullet points as his exact reason for leaving. He worked for PG&E and got an offer from FPL

It did not happen over night, things like these are in the works for time.

Who cares about taxes when you make 8 figures a year?

With that type of money I would live in southern California over Baton Rouge or Oklahoma any day.

Louisiana government is about as stupid as California. Taxes also are absolutely horrible in comparison to the benefits.
