His QB just broke Jake Delhommes record last game. Yeah man, he's awful and its just Napier trying to protect him. The excuse ya'll come up with for Napier is insane.
Have you ever watched him play? He isn't very good at all.

I want LSU to go get that Ga. State OL coach. His guys were getting push and opening holes for their running backs all night long. He has to be better than who we have right now.

I watched them play Auburn and they were whipping them on both LOS. That game was no fluke. They beat them for 3 1/2 Qtrs. Did the same last night until ULL finally got rolling.

A lot of support is from people trying to continue their glory days of access to LSU, by getting the next La. guy hired

He's not a damn Louisiana guy. Napier is from Tennessee. He just happens to coach in Louisiana. Nothing about Napier compares to Orgeron at all.

61.8% Completion
19 TDs Once again 2021 isnt finished
5 INTs Once again 2021 inst finished

Does he not coach in La.? Was La. not his recruiting area while he was at other schools? Is he not pushing himself with BR media by going on their shows as a Louisiana college coach? Are other La. college sports coaches on their shows each week? What about ULL's basketball or baseball coaches, are they featured guests too? What about other rumored coaches, Riley ever on these shows? Jimbo? Aranda? Hell, Arands was an LSU coach, yet he doesn't come on weekly to talk about Baylor. But Napier does, because he has that La. connection. You simply cannot deny that.

And of course people are playing off their La. access to him. They want to stay in his loop. And desperately hope his loop becomes the LSU loop. It will make them money, and add importance to their lives. He is THE La. GUY in this coaching search.

He's done a lot with Lewis.

More than most coaches would.

And Riley this season

Agree to the comparison you are making. But if you're making it to show Napier is an equal coach to Riley then I can't get anywhere behind that. Aside from on field results there are off field things to consider at schools that in my opinion separate coaches.

Riley has proven he can handle a bigger school, with bigger competition, more administrative and booster politics, and a tougher recruiting competition. Its why I am more inclined to want a coach from a P5 than a G5 no matter who the G5 coach trained under or how well he sounds in interviews. I believe you can coach football, but show me you can handle the stage. Riley can. Herman couldn't. Strong Couldn't. Taggert couldn't. Norvell isn't. Fuente isn't. I know there are G5 coaches who have made the jump and done well. I don't think our program needs to be the guinea pig.

Yeah I was just pushing back on the "close game, playing down" narrative.

If Scott can get Riley here no one should complain or look back. I think Lincoln would make LSU a perennial contender.

One year out from the New Orleans bowl. The program really cratered lol.

By next week according to his followers he will have opened the ULL job from scratch and he will have turned down the Alabama job because of the strings attached

What’s always been said is he’s taken his name out of the running. There’s no guarantee he would have held up under scrutiny of interviews and gotten the job.

Maybe he didn’t want that job, but it wasn’t his to lose. He was a candidate and he decided not to pursue. There’s nothing that’s been said to believe the talks even went very far.

Are we voting to see who the next head coach is? Sweet, I know where my vote's going.

He should be choice #3 or #4.

I like him but think he needs to jump up a step to something closer to a major conference before he'll be ready and proven...

And if you want to see UL almost choke every game against inferior teams, go watch every other game this season.
