Ensminger is the safe hire!

The optics certainly don't look good. He sits there and proclaims he'll bring in the best OC in the country and a year and a half later we end up with Ensminger.

I'm confused. Your title suggests that ensminger is an okay hire, but the body of the message is riddled with sarcastic nonsense.
in any case, yes, I think ensminger would be a bad pick for OC. Let him to TE's and recruit...leave it at that.
If he's good at recruiting, and that's good for the program, why put him in a position where you may have to fire him?
