Well then just give him ensminger and sully. Honestly all I would like to see is a more in-depth passing game, with more screens and more misdirection. Only problem I have with Gilbert is his offense puts up big numbers but also how poorly would this effect the defense. A lot of his work is based on speed with runs up the middle but in the little bit that I watched at Texas I don’t remember much misdirection or many screen plays other than wr screens. Would honestly have to watch more of his film to know for sure. If defense could remain sound with this style offense fine but the idea of giving up 30+ a game doesn’t sound great to me and a defense being spent late. Will have to wait and see. Now Gilbert would be exciting I’m for sure of this much, but at how much of a cost. Anybody else care to voice how I’m right or wrong please share cause I’m far from an expert on Gilbert

I laughed when you took Chavis from us cause he never was that good but aranda and a few on the defensive staff are the only good coaches we got right now. Losing aranda would of hurt and made us look like A&M for at least the next 5 years

Well don’t think Lane kiffin is coming. So give me a guy that worked with him and had success everywhere he’s been. Heck when he has any questions he can call his dad which is also a genius.

And who knows everybody may be wrong and Canada stays. Now if true what they said about the Baldwin recruitment then Canada needs to go but we will probably never know. Now any head coach should have some input on the offense I mean ultimately your head is the one on the chopping block but if you don’t like his offense, which surely you watched before hiring him, why hire him in the first place. Once you get him in you should be able to say I would like to do this a little more and have some input but ultimately you need to let him coach. And I like coach O and would love to see him succeed but this isn’t a good look for your first big hire and both men need to swallow some pride or just come out and make it very public.
