2. Players HATE playing for him but are well compensated

So,

This is the biggest LOL I've read on here in a pretty long time. In fact, is biggest attribute is how much players love him.

We're right in the middle as far as NIL spending goes, if he never loses starters to the portal, how is our NIL spending not higher? After all, they would get paid more if they left.

LSU during Covid and O’s disaster, Florida who the last 15 years hasn’t been the program they’re viewed as, Tennessee who made their return to relevancy last year, Ohio State in a bowl game missing a chunk of their roster, Kansas State(seriously Les?), and OU who again is that really punching up?

It’s frickin Missouri, guy.

A program he took over after a fired coach.

It’s crazy how a bias can just totally throw out all realistic expectations.

If you answer these, I’ll email verge too 1.)Where would Missouri, as a program, rank to you in within the SEC? 2)Of the 15 losses vs SEC Teams with winning records, how many were Missouri favored in? Better yet, how many of these games were they not double digit under dogs in? 3)of all of Drinkwitz's losses at Missouri, how many were losses when Missouri was favored in their game?

1. Not high up but they did make multiple SEC championships under a coach not named Drinkwitz
2. This season they were underdogs by 3.5 to Bama, 7 to A&M (got crushed at home), -2.5 to Vandy. That’s my point. He NEVER beats teams that he shouldn’t. Those aren’t huge spreads and he can’t get it done AT HOME

I too would rather my coach lose at home as double digit favorites to service academies or teams with a quarterback that retired from football than Alabama by a field goal

Right. They are so low on the totem pole with the recent additions that you won’t even put a number on it.

The last three years they are 22-0 as the favorite. Imagine Brian Kelly winning every game lsu was favored. He’d have a statue reserved for him

LSU having a coach named "Drink" does seem appropriate.

Drinkwitz is 0-15 since 2020 against SEC teams that finish with a winning conference record.

Against ranked teams
2020: 1-4, -97 point differential
2021: 0-3, -75 point differential
2022: 1-2, -35 point differential
2023: 3-2, +28 point differential
2024: 0-3, -69 point differential
2025: 0-3, -10 point differential
Total: 5-17, -258 point differential

Out of the five ranked wins he has during his tenure at Missouri…

beat LSU in 2020, who finished 5-5.
beat South Carolina in 2022, who finished 7-5.
beat Kansas State in 2023, who finished 8-4.
beat Kentucky in 2023, who finished 6-6.
beat Tennessee in 2023, who finished 8-4.

that’s the resume of a coach that belongs at OM after they lose their HC

His head coaching record is one of the best of active coaches, and maybe the best of any coach that isn’t locked to their current job

It isn't as good as the guy we just fired.
