Kiehl has all the talent in the world to be a great QB, but he can't read defenses yet, so he hasn't been able to throw. I've watched him enough in practice to know that he has the ability.
Mason: Not super star level yet, but he is going to be a fantastic RB. I left off Mike Blakeley for some reason
Bray: He has shown a lot of quickness so far this seaosn, and should be able to progress niceley.
Coates: Yes I think he is at superstar level, he is that good. Hopefully he makes a full recovery from his injury.
Denson: Lots of talent and one of the more physical receivers we have. Who knows how he will develop, but he could be a really good one.
Reed: Talent is there, will he stay healthy?
Robinson & Westerman are going to be 4 year starters for us and both are going to be really good.

I think your assessment of Kiehl is spot on. How far he progresses could very well determine how far Auburn, without Cam, progresses.

One of the bigger players we are missing right now is Tyrik Rollison. He should've been the starting QB this season and had tons of talent coming out of HS (a lot like Oregon's QB as far as skill sets go).

He was dumb and didn't feel like going to school. He is at Sam Houston State now

His dad said all of his passes have been single wr routes.

This stuff blows my mind. If indeed he is that talented, why not go all in?
Maybe Cam being a one-year wonder had a negative impact. Cam was much more than a one-year wonder.....just talking about in the SEC.

Losing a QB of that caliber always hurts your offense. Look at UF after Tebow (I know they have a lot of problems but still). It is really hard adjusting your team to not being able to rely on somebody that good.

I agree. However, I am one of those that feels like UM left FLA due to a lack of talent. I feel he could forsee several bad years in a row and you are right...Tebow masked that.

Greg Davis is an interesting candidate, coached with Chizik at Texas. he's coached at Arky and UGA before, I know Mack Brown cleaned house last year but I don't see that being an awful hire like some others think.

Would it be bad if I was more worried about the defensive coordinator position?

Blake Anderson OC Southern Miss: good hire
Greg Davis former Texas OC: bad hire
Jason Phillips Houston OC: bad hire
Al Borges OC Michigan: great hire but AU has no shot
Michigan is back and will win a lot more games in the next 5 years than AU could dream of.
