I've heard that we might be looking at USC's offensive coordinator...
ETA: it might have been their QB coach

If Chizik elects to stick with a Malzahn-ish system, Blake Anderson likely will be the front-runner. We know Chizik has a pre-existing relationship with Anderson, who is Southern Miss’ offensive coordinator. He also is being considered for the Golden Eagles’ top job, which opened when Larry Fedora left for UNC last week. Anderson and Chizik talked last winter when it appeared Malzahn was headed to Vanderbilt. They met again during the summer. That’s when USM’s offensive assistants traveled to Auburn to meet with Malzahn. They talked shop. Chizik, I’m told, walked away with the clear idea that Anderson would be a great fit at Auburn if Malzahn left.

You should add Looper. I think he should get it.

If he does, will you learn to spell his name correctly?

I think he's just talking about this

Why? What has he done to be OC?

Honestly, not a very strong list.
I would put Anderson above the other three.

I don't think Borges would be a bad choice as long as he won't be needed to recruit much...he is a good play caller with talent...
But I agree with the other...NO DAVIS!

I wonder if Chizik would want to create a little 2004 magic again?

I'd be cool if the Borge came back to town.

Our offense was progressively worse every year from 2004 to 2007.
No thanks.

WR and QB talent was the reason for that more so than Borges's coaching.
