Damn, there goes LSU’s #2 hire

Good. I’d rather hire an assistant coach from somewhere than pay Drinkovitz 11 million/year.

Good job on his part. No matter where he went, he would have been hated from the get go, fair or not. Smart to take the money and stay.

My condolences to the Mizzou fans.

I think most of us are good with it. I did not want them to have to join the coaching search circus this year.

This dude is headed for his 4th 5+ loss season during his time at Missouri, and they’re paying him $10Mil per year.

That’s a Jimmy Sexton Special if I’ve ever seen one.

Crazy.

Wow. Indiana and Missouri writing the big checks. How crazy will this get?

Yep. The only way Drink made since is if it was one of those contracts the governor wanted. That way we’re we’re only paying him $7MM a year even with all the bonuses because he can’t win games that count.

I was in a suite last weekend with a lot of Mizzou fans in Norman

The apathy was crazy. All of them said they don’t care anymore and Drink is the most basic coach out there. They were praying someone to take him off their hands.

And of course, this was in the middle of the game where they couldn’t pass the 50 yard line and punted multiple times on 4th and short

What’s a LSU fan doing at Mizzou vs OU game? You realize your game is this weekend?

He was the 11th highest paid coach in the country before this contract. Now he’s probably close to top 5, lol. Insanity for this guy. I’m happy he won’t end up at LSU.

A good coach and would probably have success at Florida or LSU. Not sure he’s a fit at LSU, but the baw can coach and run a program.

Live in Frisco north of Dallas. BIL has season tickets on the 30 lower bowl and invited me last minute. We can’t go tomorrow so I decided to go.
