Don't expect an OC hire before the bowl. ST coach likely in house

From O's Bowl press conference just now. Says they're going to take their time on the OC. Recruiting some people.
Says the Special teams coach will likely be hired from within. They'll bring in consultants but likely hire in house.

If that's true, that'd be sad. Just further proving my theory O is just gonna hire his old buddies to coach and not hold legitamite interviews for any position. Total opposite of his promise to the fans and school.

Would y'all rather us rush and make a shitty hire (see: hiring of Ed O)? I'm ready to know who will be our OC as much as the next guy, but is really that huge of a deal to wait til after the bowl? I guess it could hurt with recruiting but there would then be an entire month until signing day.

That's not what he said. Since a hire likely won't be made before game they will handle the coaching for bowl in house. Not that they are hiring from in house.
