They aren't even competitive right now.
Losing Wade Phillips might be worse than Kubiak stepping down.

If he did, I wonder what ESPN would talk about regarding him being fired after only 1 season

They'll give him another year I'd think. The QB situation there is trash.

If he was white the chances of him getting fired after one year are much greater. Firing a black first year NFL coach would call for mass amounts of damage control.

Being a minority coach in the NFL buys you an extra year or two

Hell, look at Marvin Lewis

Elway brings in Peyton Manning to coach next year and trades for Eli. Cooper can join as water boy.

That has less to do with Marvin's race and more to do with the cheapest owner in the NFL. Mike Brown will never fire a head coach and continue to pay him guaranteed money. He prefers to let their contract run out and just not renew. Dude is ultra frugal.

He will get more time, the QB situation is real bad, but somehow he managed to ruin the defense all on his own. Elway should have made Phillips the coach last year.

Coaches like Hue Jackson and Art Shell have been fired after 1 season. Hell Jackson had a .500 record and was fired after 1 season. Stop making shite up trying to push your racial agendas.

He should never have been hired in the first place. Why people believed he had any promise as a head coach were simply morons.

Guy has failed upwards and it's amazing how it happened.

People complaining about the QB situation seem to ignore they were basically in the same position last year and were 9-7 just one game out of a wild card spot.

The QB position situation is not why they suck. It is entirely on Joseph's inept ability as a head coach and coach in general for that matter.

Guy was a DC for the first time last year and had their defense ranked:

#29 in Total Defense (YPG Allowed) and 18th in scoring defense. Note the Dolphins had the #6 Scoring defense in the league the year before.

I'm still trying to figure out how the coordinator of the 29th ranked NFL defense parlays that into a HC gig.

Well, if he took over a talent-less defense, you'd understand. Guy took over one of the top defenses in the league and torpedoed them in 1 year, yet got promoted to an even higher position for it.

Gotta love the NFL.
