Or did he learn from saban
He’s young enough and could try it and come back to college

I highly doubt he ever leaves UGA

Do people think this guy is actually a great coach or does he just have the best players and out talents everyone minus Bama?

Kirby is the biggest Saban dickrider out there so he’ll probably just stick to cfb

Getting players to campus is like 70 percent of a college coaches job. So to say that he gets the best players and out talents everyone, means he’s a good coach.

Means he's a good recruiter.
Coaching is something else.
Coaching is something else.

And that translates to the nfl perfectly
Posted on 1/1/23 at 10:23 am to nicholastiger
Eh, his #1 skill is recruiting.
He wouldn’t translate to the NFL.
Saban at one point was a NFL DC and his defenses were considered high and from an Xs and Os standpoint

He seems like a Georgia lifer and he is killing it. He’s positioned himself very well to be the king of college football whenever Saban finally walks away

He'll probably go to the NFL and do bad on purpse and come to college football just because Saban did it
Posted on 1/1/23 at 11:27 am to nicholastiger
He might but I seriously doubt he would take one

He is a great defensive coach
You still have to coach up the players. His defense is always sound and in the right spot.

No. He’s a Georgia guy at his alma mater on the brink of what could be the next CFB dynasty. Georgia will pay him whatever he wants. No need to leave that situation

His skills won’t translate to the nfl.

No. Recruiting isn’t a thing in the NFL.

Yep, he wants to mess up his current hot streak to be successful at this time of his life at UGA. Nick Saban messed it up and Kirby isn't going to do the same thing.

Kirby ain’t ever leaving Georgia for anybody. He couldn’t care less about the NFL and Georgia would match whatever the NFL offered.
Posted on 1/6/23 at 7:09 am to nicholastiger
He is right where he wants to be and would be foolish to go to the NFL.

If he gets tired of NIL and portal and bored
He's not even 50 yet
I could see the Falcons offering him and who knows maybe Smart would want to try that level
He's definitely young enough and could return to college like Saban did
It would be hard for him to leave Georgia his dream job though

This is the big thing. He's from Georgia, played for U. Georgia, and now he's a NC winning coach at U. Georgia. Unless they fire him down the road, I doubt any job looks enticing enough to pull him away from home. He's in a very rare position as far as coaching jobs go.
