The question is, why do you need to buy a house this early in all this mess? Just come down here, get an executive apartment, or rent a home, and take time to find what you want. Then bring your family in later.
I mean, that's just a little much to buy a house immediately before you can even really figure out where you want to be or what you want to do. Makes little sense.

Sadly it is not a done deal because he hasn't signed yet.
By all accounts, he is meeting with OM tomorrow where OM will have the final offer and if he truly is undecided, I could easily see him being swayed to stay at the last second if he goes into that meeting willing to hear them out.
