Has this been talked about yet port Bama? If not, it needs to be. I know his name has hardly been floated around at all leading up to this weekend. That defense was beautiful on Saturday. We cannot let that leave this program. If it means making him the HC, so be it.

I still have Mike Archer hangover. That was a decision that relegated LSU to the football desert for a dozen years.
Archer's shortcomings were that he was a horrific recruiter, couldn't attract top offensive staff, and had no clue how to be that program manager/CEO (which every successful HC needs a fair portion of). He also was a terrible rally coach/motivator. His only plus was really that he was a good defensive tactician. Hell, Archer couldn't even develop or recognize Kenny Davidson's potential. The kid never started, I don't think, and had a pretty decent NFL stint after he left.
Would this mean Aranda is the same guy? Of course not, but the risks are there on some level.
Does Aranda really give you better risk:reward than Jimbo? No way. Does he give you a better risk:reward than Herman? Most would say no. How about Ogeron? (who I don't want)
