If this is true, he better start figuring out the NIL and transfer portal, or it will be a lot tougher to win at Arkansas than at Clemson.

This same phrasing was posted verbatim on the Arky boards but with Marcus Freeman lol

It was shared on MBG.

Well good for Arkansas if that happens. I don't think its a very good hire at this point. But hey more power to them.

Arkansas HAD Wal-Mart money until the last chancellor hire. That didn't go their way and they haven't been involved since. Rumor is they are wanting back in but hasn't been confirmed.

What also has been floated is the Lindsey and Associates folks want to be in the thick of this..... they have kid who is QB for Fleck at Minnesota which has fueled the Fleck speculation.

Talk has been from the jump that each big money booster wants a different coach.
IF by chance they could all get on board with the same guy and figure out the NIL then maybe we could get this thing turned around.
If not we are just hiring the next guy we will fire in 3-5 years.

If we hire Dabo we deserve to be in the FCS. unserious program. We will continue to dig our own grave but not embracing the modern era of college football.

Agree.... big step backward.... unless he's willing to reinvent himself.
Some are, he just doesn't seem to be up to this point....

he's a 2 time NC champion, (lost 2 of them) and won 8 ACC titles

he's a great coach and pretty solid person. He won't embarrass Arkansas like Petrino did with a mistress

I understand the perception is down, but dang, I think we've all lost our minds

I agree. Dabo just won the ACC and got to the CFP again last year. This season has been Clemson's worst in like 15 years, and nobody expected it to be.

Dabo is basically being shite on by everybody for not living up to an elite standard that he created himself. If he's motivated enough to tackle a job like Arkansas at this point in his career, then he could be a home run for them.

But why would he go there from Clemson? It doesn’t make sense,

He’s been taking like a dead man walking all season. I’d be surprised if he made it another season there. Feels like they are giving him the benefit of finishing out the season bc of what he’s done there before.

Dabo will never be as successful as he was in the past if he doesn't bend to the NIL/portal world. And he's extremely reliant on his coordinators as well.
