Fwiw, this same source informed me that a) LSU would be in the Cotton Bowl 2 weeks before it was announced and that Ridley would be reinstated.

btw, as for the spread, there are different types of spread offenses, some require a great accurate passer, like Leach's. You think Graham Harrell or Timmy Chang ran the ball much on designed plays?

Mettenberger might kill people in that kinda spread.

No offense, but those two things weren't exactly hard to "predict."

I hope GC is a goner, but I hope to God Gonzo is NOT his replacement.

I'm sure he was told when he was hired that he'd have a shot when Crowton leaves, and thus, they'll consider him a candidate.

Gonzales would be an underwhelming replacement

Maybe he'll be a good OC, maybe not, but we just need some fresh blood to rejuvenate everyone about the offense
