Gonzales would be an underwhelming replacement

Maybe he'll be a good OC, maybe not, but we just need some fresh blood to rejuvenate everyone about the offense

Anything Is better than crowton

And gonzo pumps me up even if he's an uncertainty. I'd love to see him calling plays down on the field.

The fanbase needs a shot in the arm.

btw, as for the spread, there are different types of spread offenses, some require a great accurate passer, like Leach's. You think Graham Harrell or Timmy Chang ran the ball much on designed plays?

Mettenberger might kill people in that kinda spread.

too bad billy G is a spread option guy, and not an air raid/run&shoot spread guy

If Les Stays and promotes Billy G, I'm going to be pissed.

I see Billy as another puppet for Miles

This just shows how everyone outside of LA views LSU.

UF can pull in a name like Charlie Weis for OC.

LSU has to resort to a fricking WR coach who is not proven whatsoever.

uh...he's like 190 lbs and hasn't really proven his running mettle while at LSU

and UF never really ran with small QBs. tebow/newton were their dynasty QBs, brah

LSU doesnt have to resort to BG, it's just that miles insists on making things more difficult than they should be

more like the northwestern/tulane spread option (the classical spread option)

mobile QB, not a runner though. accurate without a big arm

we still don't have that guy either
