After a disappointing 5-7 season, head coach Billy Napier has started to make some changes to the staff. The Orlando Sentinel reports tonight that assistant head coach / secondary coach Corey Raymond and co-defensive coordinator / defensive line coach Sean Spencer have been let go. Both men were in their second season with the Gators.

This can’t be true. I was told he is the best thing since sliced bread and is irreplaceable!

This could be the best thing for LSU. Bring Corey back and now his wandering eyes will come back to reality, along with his ridiculous DC goals.

Please no… we need teachers as well. Create a recruiting spot for Corey, but get us developers for the players.

Neither are good and neither could coach up talent. Go get Porter the guy who really started DBU or a good pro Db coach who came from college and can coach/recruit.

CR is headed back to Baton Rouge. Don’t know if that’s good or bad.

Guys Corey recruited and coached who were drafted (and round) from 2017-2022:

Jamaal Adams, 1st
Tre' White, 1st
Donte Jackson, 2nd
Greedy Williams, 2nd
Grant Delpit, 2nd
Kristian Fulton, 2nd
Jacoby Stevens, 6th
Kary Vincent, 7th
Derrick Stingley, 1st
Cordale Flott, 3rd
Jay Ward, 4th

..but keep spouting the BS that he couldn't coach or develop players.

Not included are Eli Ricks (UDFA but would have been 1-2 if he stayed at LSU), Kelvin Joseph (2nd) and McGlothern who will be drafted this year.

Exactly. Bring him in as a recruiter and hire a legit DB coach. He can have his CB coach title back but basically in name only.
