I've never encountered a group of fans who talk more shite without having accomplished anything than Ole Miss fans.

Holy hell, this just keeps getting better. That's actually a thing at Ole Miss?

I am now officially invested in this thread.

It's hard to compete with paradises on Earth like Tuscaloosa, South Central Los Angeles, Starkville, Gainsville, etc.

At least, that's what your brethren on the ole miss board would be screaming if one of us went over there and started trolling.

We promote free-thought on the Ole Miss board broseph. Nothing to be insecure about when you're handing out arse-whippings to LSU and winning Sugar Bowls.

Holy shite this guy is stupid. Ole Miss has two losses and he thinks they're on top of the mountain. Retard.

This has nothing to do with Ole Miss. But Ole Miss is going to beat the hell out of LSU, so what does that say about your program?

With Miles coaching I had no doubt.

Now, I'm not so sure.

It says we needed a change at HC, badly.

I think it says nothing unless you have a crystal ball or can see the future. Stupid. Did you get a degree in tarot card reading from Ole Miss? Idiot.

I've been all over the world Reb. I travel the nation weekly for work and have lived in more major cities than most have visited.

Now that I can work from anywhere, there is no where I will ever live except Baton Rouge. It's hard to explain to someone who sees it as a competitor, but BR is a special place.

I know you have your small pretty campus and neat little restaurant area, but Oxford is among the most boring places in America.

As evidenced by your continued persistence to defend your ridiculous premise, you clearly think you've got some chance of changing the perception of your point. I'm merely trying to save you the trouble, but continue on, if you will. We need a laugh.

I guess Ole Miss football has been around for only the last few years. Huh.

Wait, I mean the best paid players just started going to ole miss in the last few years.

And yet, still a mid tier school. Maybe one day you'll be respected.

LSU gives coaches an opportunity to coach and win at the very highest level. It gives the most ambitious out there a crack at dethroning Saban. It is a great challenge meant for a great man, who, if he succeeds, will become immortal.

Yes, between the illustrious Perkins Road overpass area and trendy spots like City Bar on 3rd Street, it truly is a magical place that anyone would envy.

But does all of that really negate all of the factors mentioned in OP? It seems like a big compromise.
All that crime you mention is in North BR, a long way off from the LSU campus.

I'm sure the 5-6 million the next permanent LSU HC will receive will enable him to buy a nice little place down Highland Road, away from the crime and rabble rousers.

You're right about the Interstates though. Like a mini-L.A./Houston at rush hour and they're filthy dirty, (Thanks to LA DOTD) but really don't think that any HC is going to turn 5-6 Million down because the highways are crowded and dirty........
