Correct, he is also Rileys agent. They have the same agent and its more likely the negotiations for Riley in regards to LSU were never about Riley but concerned Kelly. The Riley to USC thing happened way too fast for me to believe he was ever seriously considering LSU or being discussed.

There’s no need for that. There’s not much that will leak this week as I’m sure Kiffin is preparing for the Egg Bowl
Based on all we’ve heard to date, Kiffin will make a decision on Saturday and will choose between LSU and UF and based on rumors he’s leaning towards LSU. If he were staying at Ole Miss that would’ve been announced already because this is all a big distraction to his team. He wouldn’t be doing all this irreparable damage to relationships with fanbase/admin/donors to troll rivals and make them hold off on signing a HC all for a 1 weeks gain prior to portal even opening.

Chicken said that the SEC head office has been involved in the process of LSU's negotiations with Lane Kiffin. Why is that? Are they also involved in Florida's attempt to get Kiffin or Ole Miss' efforts to retain him? I don't trust them. What is the extent of their involvement and is this a normal procedure?

He’s not coming to LSU, he just used LSU to get better offers from Ole Miss and Florida. I believe he stays at Ole Miss. LSU will get an epic Lane troll and smackdown after the Egg Bowl. Delaying the decision meant he had rejected LSU.

No they not… Lane is waiting on Saban, Verge, Corey, and Frank to get people on board around Louisiana… also waiting on former players to convince other former players to get on board … If those two things not cleared up by the middle of next week Lane going to Florida… but other than that the job is his if he want it
