I see he got his pupil Haley's name in the paper as being wooed to UGA as well. I hope Coach K's racquet ball partner did whatever it took to let us re-create Pep Levingston's magical 2009 season.

Per Hanagrif on ESPN 1420 (so no fricken link) the answer is yes, they both got a raise.

I hope Montgomery and others get to play next year but I got a big feeling that Miles' you never lose a starting job policy will give us an even bigger dose of Pep chicken fighting with offensive tackles 10 yards away from the ball.

it is horse shite if we gave brick a raise though. Sorry the DL was fricking awful this year. Maybe it wasn't brick's fault, but there is still no reason to give the guy a raise.

at least chavis can claim he improved his area LBs and the D as a whole.

I never understood this hire anyway...

Didn't this dude play LB in college and basically most of his career coach LBs? Then he went to MSU and coached d-line and then NFL for d-line? I know Chicago fans weren't crazy about him. I'm starting to think hes another Earl Lane. They're actually worse this year than before...

You know Cooper isn't going to be happy if he is the only one not getting a bump for floating their name to UGA.

Haley's name has been floated with MSU as a DC to boot too, even though he has not coordinated a defense since he left Waco, I don't believe.

bump for another zero sack performance

Six sackless games this year by the entire d-line. Two 1 sack games and three 2 sack games. So from ten games we produced 8 total sacks from our entire line.

Maybe LSU is giving raises to the coach who can prove hes the least valuable. Would only be fitting considering how shitty our management is in handling contracts.

That's pay bump material at LSU.

The main reason behind the fall of the stout traditional lsu defense is the DL
DL suffered a lot under Miles

How is it that these guys can't coach?

I don't understand all this talk..."he can't coach"....I am sorry, but if a guy coached in the NFL, he can probably coach the position.

I think the issue at LSU is player development

Obviously you haven't been a Saints fan for the last millinium.

Matt Millen as our next recruiting coordinator?

See? And you consider Miles an idiot. He's making our shitty coaching staff so highly paid that they can't get rid or them. It's awesome.

ETA: I'm okay with Chavis but, jesus, let brick go.
