Holy hell everyone take a deep breath and chill out
So two guys we thought were candidates have gone to other jobs, but we don’t know if they ever actually were candidates.
In the absence of confirmed direct information from LSU we are just making up our own scenarios and realities.
One thing to keep in mind, it does Trace Armstrong and Jimmy Sexton (or any other agent) no good to have Scott Woodward look bad when he has a brand name job and a big checkbook.
Let’s wait and see what happens

It's been really bad. So many people are acting like we're definitely getting some scrub and that there's no plan in place at all.

As I said in another thread:
All along we were told that Woodward doesn't leak, and yet it seems nearly everyone (myself included) bought into leaks. I still firmly believe Woodward will get the job done and deliver a high-quality coach to LSU, and I see certainly see no reason to panic and/or meltdown.
We're going to be okay.

Trace Armstrong had no trouble doing it when he was representing Tom Herman 5 years ago. Jimmy Sexton would lie to his mother if it meant getting more money for a client.

The problem is our AD got played my friend. USC and Riley played Woodward like a Piano.
LSU Coaches, players, and recruits were following Riley on Twitter. Obviously someone told them Riley was coming to LSU. Obviously he isn’t.

Once you put yourself inside an echo chamber, social media eventually convinced you of something that just isn’t true.
The flame that was Riley to LSU just grew into an inferno that couldn’t be controlled.
