Roper was only there for the 2014 season and yet he did better Had Harris performing better as a true freshman then McElwain has him performing as a returning starter

The 2014 OL had 4 draft picks, and Matt Jones. Treon was the exact same last year as he. is this year. The OL this year has started 3 freshman, a former DT and Mason Halter on it. Roper had better personnel to work with even in Driskel.

Spurrier retires .... - Herman, Fuente, Kirby - Herman jumps on board and is ready to talk, Fuente does not vet-out, no SEC school will touch him, -- LSU feigns firing Les, Herman balks, we move to Kirby --- Kirby begins talks with UGA in early November, Herman is now looking at maybe getting a shot at LSU OR FSU ---- Jimbo says he is not leaving FSU, Les goes on PR campaign, we're still talking to Herman, now it's Herman and Muschamp ----- Herman gets pissed about a leak in our process, Muschamp starts sending more overtures, by this time we have two dozen apps for the job, we lose to The Citadel, Herman is worried now and the next day he announces he is withdrawing his name from consideration ... everything slows down here. Lincoln Riley calls, they talk. Kid is too young, we move on. Tanner has to decide to focus on Muschamp or look at some of the other apps that have been faxed-in. He decides to talk to Rich Rod, never offers, keeps thinking back to all the times he has spoken to Muschamp over the years ... likes the guy. Makes a few calls, talks to Muschamp again. Starts leaning towards Muschamp a week ago - calls him again late Wednesday night and has another two hour conversation, basically decides on Muschamp at that time but has committed to two interviews and is advised he has to allow them because of state EEOC laws .... calls Muschamp on Thursday to let him know the interviews are a formality. Muschamp starts calling potential staff. We make it official with Muschamp early Saturday morning with a call telling him he is hired ... Rich Rod lies his arse off and claims he was offered Saturday afternoon but turned down the job. AZ AD has to cover his arse because he has a coach no one wants, who has been out there trying to find another job ... so he claims Rich Rod was offered to save face.

We make the Muschamp hire official today.
