Not over. Still hot overall but, It would depend on how involved he was. That would take research.

I just posted factual evidence that the offense was practically no different than in Miles' last full year.
And that's with the shitty SEC this year.

You think the "offense was good this year"??

Why because we ran up stats on really bad SEC teams? Against quantity defenses, we shut down

Eh not necessarily true. Outgained Bama and put up ~375 yards on a great Auburn D.

Can we get ONE of them on the “Shadow Staff”? Bring Briles or Freeze in for the sole purpose of being named OC once Canada bolts for “parts unknown”.

Well then hire Ole Piss OC not freeze. Am I right.

You must not know offense!

Much better than under Miles. The playcalling was not predictable. Good ball movement. Converted on 3rd down.

You can have an effective offense and not be an Air Raid. It is ok to run the ball!!

Similar stats do not equate to same offense.

Why look at shite in a vacuum like that? It's a new system, young o line, OK QB play compared to a well established system where all players were familiar with it. You can't make a fair comparison like that.

Canada was fired from his last job & either resigned or was fired from the one before that. And the one before that. Coach O, from all that has been said here, changed offenses in the first half of the Troy game. There is no indication or references to any other attempt to change Canada's offense. One half. By his boss, the HC. Obviously, he is way too thin skinned or way too egotistical to be a success in the SEC.

Id like Briles. You have to be able to run the football. Briles's system runs the ball.

I don't dislike Briles. I'd be happy with him as a hire. I just put some weight into Freeze's offensive success in the SEC.

He never had a 1,000 yard rusher at Ole Miss but the ground game was generally respectable. He also never had backs the quality of a Fournette or a Guice.

2012: 31 passes per game 42 rushes pg 174 ypg

2013: 38 passes 41 rushes 190 ypg 4.7 ypc 3 rushers at 500+ yards

2014: 33 passes 37 rushes 156 ypg 4.2 ypc

2015: 38 passes 36 rushes 183 ypg 5.1 ypg

2016: 40 passes 35 rushes 149 ypg 4.2 ypg

Compared to LSU'S ground game

2012: 41 rushes per game 174 ypg 4.3 ypc

2013: 40 rushes 202 ypg 5.0 ypc

2014: 48 rushes 225 ypg 4.7 ypc

2015: 42 rushes 257 ypg 6.1 ypc

2016: 38 rushes 233 ypg 6.1 ypc

It was barely better than Cams last full year. They were trying to fire Les before the end of the season for similar results.

He was? Last time I checked Pitt was in the top 10 for offense while he was there and he was nominated for a Broyles award. I believe he left that job for LSU.

Or you aware that Saban wasn't in our pool of potential candidates until he had his agent make contact? Guess you assume Saban was a drama queen way back then too. Many many coaching hires result from a coach getting his name added to a list.

ARE you aware.

Doesn’t matter. Your comment is monumentally retarded.

If he isn't into LSU, then who is to say he stays because he has no other options and just gives a half assed effort. No thanks

That's not how you get offers.

Heres what I know for sure. Canada is looking for a way out, but his resume may not be strong enoigh for a Head Coach gig.

His contract will penalize him for leaving for any position thats not a head coach. I think we may be safe for another year.

Canada is trying his damn hardest though.

If they want him to leave, why not just waive the penalty in his contract and let him be on his way?
