Canada is a dick, the other coaches hate him, the players do not like playing for him, and his offense was not that good. Time for him to go. Why are so many of you ball licking this arse hole.

I think most of us would rather see Orgeron pack and leave before Canada. Don't even know what Orgeron is paid to do on this staff right now. It surely isn't his mean recruiting with a mediocre class. Tables going to flip when he doesn't finish with who he's expected to get. I guess Canada would want to leave with a HC like that especially considering he's useless and probably does all the work.

Shrimp boat captain took LSU to the woodshed. Going to upgrade dat flat boat to a yacht here pretty soon.

Gotta say, Orgerons words on Canada kind of seem like an invite to leave.

or just answering the question that he was asked about it in a very honest way, knowing canada wants to go.

what else could he or should he have said when asked about it?

he wasnt going to say "nobody should want canada" or that he wasnt allowing canada to leave?

Sounds like some more fake insider b.s. to me. You just threw out the same names that have been mentioned non stop on here the last few weeks, all the while being very vague with any details.

Can you read or did you miss the part where I said this was hearsay and not from any official source?

The most basic form of info spreading is by talking. Thats what i got. I dont really give two shits about what you think this is.

If he wants out get a mutual agreement to part ways. I don't want his arse here if he doesn't want to coach here. That could be a disaster waiting to happen next season for a coach who already checked out before the season started.

What if Canada wants to be here? I didn't see any indication that Canada has "checked out" during the season. In fact I read where a top RB recruit in 2019 couldn't wait to play in Canada's offense.

I really don't give a shite if they are not BFF's. I've worked with many assholes I didn't get along with but as long as I wasn't derailed in my duties I always did the best that I was capable of. I don't think there is much difference in the Canada/ O situation. I think in the end Canada and O will have a professional relationship and LSU will win plenty of games and compete for championships. All in all this will play out naturally with either Canada leaving for a head job or moving on when his contract is done.

First, I am not impressed with O and this coaching experiment. I didn't want him hired when it happened, and I can't wait for it to be over. However, I will cheer for him, hope he does the best for LSU and the players, and hope he succeeds.

I like Canada's offense, because of his unpredictability. I thought at times he relied too much on the long pass, just like Miles' offenses did. I have yet to see real development of the short passing game. Canada did a little of that, later in the season and was very successful with it. Why did he wait so long? Maybe it was just the players needed time to get comfortable with the offense.

Canada has a history of butting heads with head coaches. I read a story about when he was at Wisconsin, and he and Bert were at odds. Bert finally let go in the bowl game and Canada scored 70. Maybe Canada just has a contentious personality. I've worked with and managed a ton of guys like that. It can be tough.

I would like for Canada to stay just for consistency right now. But I don't think the conflict with O will stop. I've posted before I can see how this thing between them went this season. Canada was promised autonomy. O bulled his way into the offense for the first half of the Troy game, Either let Ensminger call plays, or used the play book from last year, or limited the presnap movement of Canada;s offense which is key. Canada takes back over in 2nd half and scores 21, but it's too little too late. Reported fist fight in the locker room after the press conference on Monday where O throws Canada under the bus for the production the whole game. Canada tattles to Alleva, and O gets his hand slapped. O wants Canada out because he can't control Canada.

Well, if Canada leaves, I would love to see Kendal Briles. Look what he is doing under Kiffin at FAU. However, O would still panic and jump into that offense too, and screw it up. Nothing will really work until O is gone. Read the book Meat Market, O is repeating his own history.

This is what happens with a figurehead coach. We tried this with Mike Dubose. We knew he was retarded but we would give him Bruce arians, woody Mccorvey, etc and he could just get out if the way and our assistants would do the work. Well, it doesn't work that way.

If the coach isn't a strong personality, the assistants lose respect for him. Start to talk about the hc behind his back. Don't do what the hc asks. If the assistants are running things they start to say hey, I should be the head coach. I do the work and he gets the money so they start looking for jobs or sabatoge the head man.

These coaches don't look at it like we fans do. We want what's best for the program. These coaches, it's just a job. They want what's best for THEIR career.
Oh, it will work for a while but eventually ends up a train wreck. If ed o is just a figurehead who stays out of the way, LSU will be winning 3 games a year soon. You're seeing effects with this Canada mess after one season.

Or it's just that Canada doesn't get along with anyone

Canada has not shown enough to merit a head coaching job; at least not one that will top his current salary. If Canada was smart, he would bust his arse over the next 2 years, beat Bama, then schools will come looking...

You must not know offense!

Much better than under Miles. The playcalling was not predictable. Good ball movement. Converted on 3rd down.

You can have an effective offense and not be an Air Raid. It is ok to run the ball!!

Similar stats do not equate to same offense.

somebody gets it! spread concepts, horizontal stretches open up vertical runs etc.
