I think Tenn is a better job, but not much. Tenn has history, but currently isn't in the recruiting hotbed the Aggies are.
I do know Tenn isn't as good a job as Florida. So there is that. It's obvious to anyone not a Vol.

I give the edge to Florida based on being located in fertile recruiting territory.
That said, I could see why a big name coach would choose UTk over UF, given the option. If you are big time enough you can recruit off your name alone. UTk, for now, has better facilities, and personally I prefer the climate up there.
If I am an up-and-coming coach, I choose Florida because recruiting should be easier. If I’m established, it’s a toss-up.

If both jobs are open a big time coach should probably look seriously at both and then choose UF.

UT is an underrated job despite the schedule
Florida has shown that you need to be a hall of fame level coach to succeed there. Bottom 5 facilities in the SEC and 3rd in the pecking order in their own state. The list of problems go on, but in short Florida is not a great job.

I give UF the edge for ease of recruitment. You can see five 5 star recruits in a day and be home that night.
I give UT the edge for living. For me, the area around Knoxville are top notch for outdoor lifestyle.
Don't get me wrong, the Gainesville area has good outdoor lifestyle (boating, springs, close to beaches), but I prefer mountains and the Knoxville area has everything Gainesville has plus more.
