Fast forward to the end of the 2027 season, DeBoer finally fired after an underwhelming stint at Bama, and Lane Kiffin becomes the next head coach at the University of Alabama.

We'll happily take our chances with Kiffin.

That would mean LSU is in a better place than we are now. Oh no!

How many Natties won in that time frame will sway my answer

We must really got him cause here come the be careful posts....guess what we are LSU...we are rte product...we are rte brand ....we are the pipeline....we are the show. Whether it's Kiffin or it's not Kiffin one thing is for sure none of that will change and dumbo could win a title here with our pipelines, LSU will be fine with or without Kiffin and you can take that to the bank.

I agree. “When you hire Kiffin you know what you’re gettin”

This attitude is what made USL great for 40 years. They always tried to hire a coach no one else would want.

Only a complete vagina would worry about this. Not happening.

You think he's winning a natty or natties (as you suggest) in the next 2 years at LSU?
That some special kind of delusional.

I think it shows that bama without Saban isn’t the world beater that they were when he was there.and as the Saban era gets further in the rearview the more they go back to where they belong. Louisiana has more talent to pick from with recruits.

Bama isn’t firing him - I don’t care if he loses this weekend.
He’s a good recruiter and is rebuilding

You also seem to be strongly suggesting that LSU isn’t a much better job than Ole Miss and you think Bama is.

As I posted several days ago in a similar thread:
I think there is a guy named Nick who would tell Kiffin not to leave BR or he will regret it. This guy named Nick left BR and calls it the greatest professional regret of his life. Kiffin respects and listens to this guy named Nick.
