I don’t believe there anything old about his style of offense. If anything he runs a rather unique offense that is just the opposite. He likes to run the ball similar to what you’d get with Briles. He’s gonna adapt to his players so maybe you see him run some alien shite with our LA weapons. He’s got some wild formations I’ve seen over the years. (I watched every home game while he was at CMU)

Yeah, and none of us want to believe this, but it is possible Kelly keeps Peetz to coach quarterbacks AND yes, to also coordinate the offense and of course call plays BUT IN THE MANNER Kelly wants it done. I mean Kelly is the boss, so Peetz would do exactly what Kelly tells him to do. We all know Peetz did a less than satisfactory job calling plays in 2021, but he was working for O then. New sheriff in town is Kelly. For all we know, Peetz could excel big time under Kelly.

If Peetz is a rehab project for Kelly why not just hire another coach who can actually recruit? If your assumption is that Peetz could learn to be a good OC under Kelly why not hire a different rehab project that can at least recruit? I don't see much reason to keep him around tbh.

I'm with you. I don't want him either. Kelly may see potential in him. I have no idea, other than the fact he hasn't sent that fricker packing yet.

I think that's due to the bowl game. Once LSU plays its last game of the season we will likely see a lot of coaching changes.

I hope we name an oc and DC soon after the bowl game to help keep some of the kids that are rumored to be going to the portal. Then again maybe it wouldn't make a difference. Brennan coming back helps us get some depth at QB, but we need to be sure to hold on to our other skill group players currently on the roster so we don't get too thin at certain positions.

It’s also needed to understand that what worked at Cincy and Notre Dame may not work in the SEC. The sooner CBK knows this the better.

Agreed. I think we need coaches to help Davis get through the bowl game and then several will be let go.

Have you watched Kelly’s offenses at cincy and ND ?
Tell us how they are so different than offenses run in the sec right now and why they won’t work?
