Based on Brennan’s comments about his convo with Kelly,

it seems to me that Kelly will be handling the O and therefore no urgency to get an OC. Also, the lack of a DC makes me think that our DC is in the playoffs

Walker Howards stated in his interview that Kelly told him he couldn't say who the OC was yet, as in there is an OC that will be named in the future.

That's not exactly what he said...
He just said Kelly is involved in the QB room and the offensive design.
That doesn't mean Kelly will be running the O and calling plays.

We are to believe that he is gonna hire his friend who runs his style of offense. The Cinci OC. I don't think it means Kelly will be calling plays. He stopped that years back.

It was still Kelly’s offense tho. He is going to implement the offense he wants and hire someone else that will call the plays. That’s how most head coaches do it for the side of the ball they are familiar with.

Do you think Lane Kiffin didn’t have a massive influence on OM’s offense, even though Lebby handled playcalling in-game?
Some of you guys really get hung up on semantics. Kelly will hire someone younger to run his offense. That’s what he’s been doing for the last several years. I highly doubt he will be calling plays during games, but he’s still going to have a big hand in the scheme and gamplanning.

Yeah no, Kelly’s offense won’t be better. There‘s no such thing as better. I like Kelly and look forward to his coaching, but there won’t be any better than Da Joe Brady offense. Nick Saban couldn’t figure it out.

Why would they not announce it if that is the case? I think Jones and/or Baker could be a backup plan, but I doubt they’ve landed there yet.
