Maybe cope but Leaving for Tulane doesn’t make much sense imo. With NIL bank open at LSU, it’s better gig if him and Kiffin gel.

Aranda went and became HC at Baylor afterward the natty. He keeps his options open for a better job than having to audition at Tulane

Baker isn’t some defensive god. You people who think he is not replaceable are insane

Well Baker is being talked about as the next coach at Tulane where Sumrall is being talked about UF and Ole Miss.

So naw I dont think the DC at LSU is better than the Tulane head job.

I get it, but he might actually love Tulane and be happy there. An alumni, his wife being from the Northshore, etc.

Last two Tulane coaches seem to have found solid gigs

Seems like the current Tulane coach is getting job offers better than Baylor

Tulane has become a gateway job. This isn’t true anymore.

Or he might want to triple his salary and run a program that has launched the last two coaches into some very solid P4 jobs

I completely agree. Although the Defense has been what saved this season in terms of wins and losses, the Defense still hasn’t been exceptional. His defenses give up really big plays in every game which includes against rent a win teams.

I don’t want any holdovers from this years team being part of the new program.

Youre a damn fool, Kiffin will bring his brother in since Golding said he's not coming to LSU.

Triple his salary?

He makes 2.5 million a year as LSU DC

Tulane just extended the highest offer they can muster to Sumrall to try to keep him.

It’s 4 million a year…

So what he would get 4.5 if he wins a Natty or something?
