Well, if it's true that a deal is done and the 5-6 mil figure is correct, there's only two people in my mind (not counting Saban) that could even utter those words - Gruden or Carroll.
I don't think Patterson or Gundy, very good though they may be, are quite ready to demand that kind of jack.

They posted this info on Facebook I don't go to other message boards cause I have tigersdroppings. I think Grundy and Pete are the only two worth 6 mil. I wouldn't touch 4 mil for gruden, seriously what has gruden done?

Carroll would be forced to sit & testify in front of the NCAA if he came back under the NCAA umbrella. That was one of the reasons he supposedly left. If you dont work for an NCAA organization, you are not forced to give testimony.

I don't doubt Long has a #1, and conversations have occurred - but 6 million? Any rumors including pay would almost have to originate with an agent.

Trey Schapp is an idiot and this is nothing more than a ploy to get people to listen to his piece ole chit radio show which I will NEVER do. He has no sources and is just feeding the fire. Long has no one hired and we are probably going to be embarrassed yet again.
