I know this isn't a popular opinion, but I hope we wouldn't pay Gruden 6 mil. What were we paying Bobby, 3.5? If Tenner wants him for that - let them have him.
I may be crazy - but I would rather try to land Gundy for less $$$. At the end of the day, this is a business.

I agree. I really hope we aren't dumb enough to blow $6 million on Jon Gruden. That would just be a waste of money in my opinion.

You would think that ESPN (who Gruden works for) or an outlet in Arkansas(who is hiring him) would break the story before one in Dallas.

Only rumor I've heard from a somewhat reliable source is that Long does have his coach and that they are waiting to find out if Arkansas will get bowl eligible or not for the announcement.

Randy Rainwater who broke the Petrino hiring just had Biddy on his show and he is saying that people around Gruden and BOTs are saying it is a DONE,,, deal....
Now I have a real hard time putting my head around it but if we get Jon Freaking Gruden then it is the single greatest day in all of college football especially for the Arkansas Razorbacks. The SEC West would all at once chit their pants and Miles and Saban would be looking for a way out. It would be monumental.
