Mad but optimistic about the opportunity to make a run at Fickell.

Well I don’t know, but what has Kelly done there besides win?

Happy.

They'll find some young talent to win. Which is what LSU should have done.

Not win anything of significance.

I assume they can't be happy but Fickell is sitting down the road. They just rinse and repeat. Hire the hot name coach that took Cincinnati to the promise land.

You cannot be serious. He is beloved at ND. They are discussing putting up a statue of him at stadium. Winningest all-time coach at ND. Devastated
Would be a better word. It’s equivalent to us getting back Saban from Ala. and asking Ala. fans if they are happy or sad. Dynasty is 1st word that comes to my mind. Wow!!!

My BIL played at Notre Dame and very excited! He said he will be able to recruit without as many limits. He said great hire for LSU!

Why would they be happy? He's the winningest coach in ND history. If they were unhappy with him he would have been gone already.

BCS championship game
2 CFP appearances
In contention for a 3rd

At a school with Vandy-like academic requirements.

He has done everything that was realistically possible.

What would their record be in the secw this year, or last or the year before. He hasn't proven anything with that weak schedule they play.
