Personally, I am not restless. We are in great shape as a program. What Chizik has accomplished in three years is a pretty amazing feat. These hires are important and will affect the program for likely the next half dozen years. Losing a few recruits in the mean time is practically meaningless.

Look at Yeldon. In all honesty, we don't really need him. We are pretty loaded at RB and next year we will sign a couple of more 4 or 5 star RBs. The perception of losing him is 10X greater than the real impact. And even if we lose or do not get a commit from another player or two, the impact of getting the right OC and DC far far outweighs a few recruits.

staff changes?

No theyre too busy worried about Trent's suits and all the supposed obvious blatant cheating that Alabama is engaged in. The 4 most recent threads on ITAT all involve Trent or how the Alabama is a sacred cow that is actively in cahoots with the NCAA to bury violations. Nevermind the fact that Alabama has been on some form of probation most of the last 15 years.

If only they could devote an entire board to it.

He is being careful with his words... But he mentions two other candidates... "The lack of buzz the last few days could mean several things."

Sort of.. He does believe that Stoops is still a possibility AFTER the bowl game. Neither school needs the distractions until then...

Truth of the matter is you don't want a coach or a coordinator who is not still getting his team ready for a meaningful bowl game or the end of the NFL season. Just be patient and wait till after the first of the year.

Chizik already has his guys. They'll move in quick when they finish their bowl games.

I believe when coordinators are out, the head coach can 'take their place' for in home visits. Gives the HC more face time with the recruits. I guess it depends on whether or not that is a good thing...

It is going to be Stoops and Anderson I believe. I think it may have already been agreed to in private actually. Or rather my parents think this (from talks with others) so I think it may be the case.

Yeah,I was thinking Stoops was just hanging around to see who Chizik hires for an OC,I know the offense will be similar to Malzahns spread wise, but not sure about the hurry up part,a lot of DC's are turned off by that cause it makes thier defense look bad, stat wise anyway .

Does Southern Miss run a hurry-up no-huddle spread? I sure hope not
