Yes, but Anderson hasn't always run that type of offense I don't think.

I don't have an account there but people on other boards are saying 247 has Anderson going to UNC with Fedora.

Yup, and there was some guy on the Bunker saying Josh McDaniels was his #1 coach of want. I watched the train wreck he coached at Denver first hand, and the Rams' offense has also been terrible this year. Plus, let's also mention that he's a huge dick and hardly ever runs the ball. DO NOT WANT.

IMO, I think we're gonna go in another direction with the offense... away from the spread.

Dear God, I hope this is right. I don't think we will, but I want to REALLY BADLY.

Does AU have the personnel to make such a transition? From what I recall, their recruiting efforts for the last couple have been directed at the spread. Seems like it would be painful to make the transition from a spread at this point in time.

Should be very interesting to see how AU handles its OC situation and what offensive philosophy that OC will employ.

Bucs QB coach would make a good oc. He coached Matt Ryan at BC and was the real wizard in that offense.

We haven't recruited just spread personnel like Myer did at florida, I think we should make a pretty easy transition to any kind of offense.

Hell to the no to McDaniels. Was it just a poster, an in the know poster or a mod that was speculating on him? I almost got sick just reading his name associated with our OC search.

John Shoop OC at UNC will be looking for a job next season. Interesting name.

Shoop and Stoops? I'll take it

Actually, looking at the Mizzou/UNC game, I'd rather not.

Ya the Dude put Denver into deep freeze with all he did there. The guy is a menace to football. Auburn does not want.

This is more likely at the moment than Anderson coming to AU. At present, Chiz is looking at Pro (both in terms of experience and offensive philosophy). That could change, but that's what I've been told this afternoon.

If it is, Lord help me...

Might I mention that I am a Denver Broncos fan. I've see this train wreck happen first hand in Denver. I can't see Chizik going after him, though. He hardly ever even establishes the run during a gameplan. He can turn any QB into a damn good one, but the running game would suffer greatly, and you can't win in the SEC that way.

I think Koetter would be a great choice. The only other name I've seen mentioned with an NFL pedigree is Joe Lombardi qb coach of the Saints. Any other NFL names that I've missed?

I've seen Koetter and Dowell Loggains mentioned. He's the passing game coordinator for the Titans.

Great news, IMO. Thanks for posting that.
