On top of him being is class act off the field, he is the smartest dude in the room. Not only that, he doesn’t care what others think or worried about “unwritten rules” of CFB.

I’m over caricatures being out HC. I’m all in for the boring dude who clearly knows what he is doing.

I wish I hadn't walked away at the end of that game.

So Dave INTENTIONALLY called a timeout with 3 seconds left so he could get the fg for tie breaker purposes? And the OU team just assumed it was over so they left the field?

My word

That was awesome. It’s always nice when someone gets one more shot at the bully

I'm genuinely impressed Ed knows he has 3 timeouts each half.

To a) know that rule, and b) have the balls to call the timeout.

You're wasting your talents at Baylor, Dave.

I would have no problem with Aranda as head coach- all he would need is a prolific OC and I’d be quite happy.

I though Riley was upset because Baylor wasn't penalized before the kick for their fans rushing the field and delaying the game.

That would make sense. I'm not a lip reader but I remember the ref telling Riley "the rules say...."

Probably in his head, with the fans storming the field, it should have been a penalty on the offense and a 10 second run off. Whatever people think about Riley's reaction, I would hate to bring my players out of the locker room for 1 meaningless play.

I think that’s more what it is but in Riley’s press conference he made a comment about sportsmanship but understood why Aranda did what he did

If he understood, why's he bitching about it?

I think ordinarily he wouldn't have cared but perhaps with the chaos that ensued and the Sooners leaving the field, he felt Aranda should have just called it a game.

I kind of get both sides.

me too - Riley has a point but Aranda had a good reason for doing it. If the fans hadn’t rushed the field and Riley didn’t have to bring the players back out of the locker room it probably wouldn’t have been an issue.

Riley was upset and that 10 minutes showed why we want Aranda. Aranda was playing 4D chess while Riley was playing the cuck.

Exactly, if Riley is so offended do something on the field and block the damn kick. Whining afterwards reminded me of Day in 2019 moaning Ohio St didn’t get the #1 seed. No shock Clemson took them out with that leadership example.

What level chess was he playing against TCU?

Ohio State wins that game if their receiver doesn't break off his route.

Because his team lost.
