Honestly, he's not real impressive.

Teams have scored over 25 points three times in two seasons against LSU. And we don't exactly have an offense that helps out the defense too much (though we don't turn it over much).

The only ppl who hype him are LSU fans. That's probably why.

If rumors started coming out of Chad Morris targeting Aranda all of a sudden you'd call him the next bill Belicheck

No one else in the country college or pro is a better DC. But being a head coach is different, I’d love him to be the HC at LSU if he continues to call the defense..

Easy: he has zero/nada/zilch interest in being a college HC.

Right now he might. Would be silly to assume he will always feel that way

If you don’t know about Aranda it probably says more about you generally being an ignorant dumbass than it does LSU fans “hyping” him

He is probably waiting for the right opportunity to be an NFL DC, assuming that team wants to pay him $2 million because that's what it'd take to get him.

Aranda has not told his agent to put his name in the CFB HC market
If he had we would be hearing about it

Probably because he doesn't want to be a HC. I'm pretty sure people have contacted his agent to gauge his interest.

Probably letting it be known he's not interested. He said last spring he wants to be an NFL DC.

Have you ever met/talked to him? Any question you ask gets a look off into space and rehearsed answer drawn up by someone in PR.

Not saying the guy wouldn’t be a good HC, he just doesn’t have much of a “Head Coach Personality” if that makes any sense. Again, nice guy, but I could definitely see him going the Chaves route through his career.

that's what i've always said when people were freaking out over Aranda leaving to become a head coach. i'm sure he is a great guy and the defense loves him but he comes off as having the personality of a dishrag.
