You don't know that and I don't think you know what your talking about. Ole Miss used TurnKey ZRG to get Kiffin and he knows them and they know him. The smart schools form a search committee and the search committee hires a firm like TurnkeyZRG to conduct the "search". LSU used a search firm to get Saban. Florida appears to have their shite together big time.

The reason why he would go to either school is because Ole Miss can’t or won’t guarantee the level of institutional spending Lane desires. Nobody knows the true appetite of Ole Miss donors at this moment in time. Both UF and LSU have already proven this is not an issue for them
Lane has spoken about institutional alignment constantly. He has that at Ole Miss. Florida looks to be a much more stable situation than LSU
Florida has more talent on campus than LSU. Easier to win immediately
There’s also the personal side of it favors Florida over LSU. Lane spent most of his life in Florida. Spurrier is his favorite coach not named Monte or Pete Carroll. He met his wife at Florida and they have since reconnected. She is also a Florida alum.
Everything points to Florida over LSU for Kiffin. Still think he stays at Ole Miss. But if he leaves it makes more sense it’s Florida
