Anyone else finding this coaching search stale lately in the best way possible?

To start off, I'm extremely pleased to be this bored at this point in the process. The same talking heads are regurgitating the same stories and it's clearly showing that they're all throwing darts in the dark and nobody knows a damn thing except Woody and maybe a small handful of other folks at LSU. Either way, nobody is leaking anything which is making for super redundant talking points on tv and radio, but also makes me feel exponentially better that they will get this hire right. It's definitely "boring" but it's obvious compared to 2016, the grown ups are handling this process.

People should realize that no current coach is going to enter into negotiations while still coaching the regular season... Gonna be awhile before things pick up.

Speaking of douches who claim not to read TD, Moscona has gotten extra douchier I feel like recently. He didn't seem as much of a doofus last year with Jordy on w&w but it seems like he's just gotten progressively worse.
But it is clear that they at least touch on the same topics people are talking about here. Why wouldn't you check to see what your audience is interested in?

This coaching search has not even began, to be honest. It will not heat up until December. Nobody in their right ind is going to let it out of the bag. Remember when Pig hired Beilema how hush hush that was? That was a situation just like LSU, Smith was dead man walking after the ULM game and Long kept everything tight.

Today has been pretty depressing, No new boogie Woke Man or anti Tucker Franklin threads in the last 12 Horus or so? It’s been consistent for better part of a week, some delicious rants and scrumptious melt downs. If it stays stale too long I’ll have to jet. Right now it looks like the Frat house ADs are ready to settle for another year of the Shimp Boat captain verses trying to flip the script.

What I wouldn't pay to have been a fly on the wall of the LSU athletic department during the Miles, Alleva, F King era. It's insane with just the stuff we do know, imagine the day to day stuff we don't know.

If we don't have a coach by Christmas, that means Woodward either has a playoff coach locked down and it's just not public or he has legitimately serious interest from one.
