After doing some research, I have come to my senses. Back to back Big East Coach of the Year. Winning record against Strong. Very good winning percentage. Better recruiter than Brian Kelly at Cincinnati.

He's a solid hire. I don't know why so many Tennessee fans hate him. He'd be one of my first calls as an AD. The guy is a winner.

However you have to justify it to yourself, I remember you guys telling us how 2012 was going to be the year Dooley won the SEC too.

Silly imo. Brian Kelly got ND to the national title game in 3 years. Very similar circumstances here.

I still can't get over the fact that Dooley raped his arse. granted, UT had a better team but I still have an image ofBray/Hunter/Rogers beating the frick out of Cinci imprinted on my brain.

Give it up, his team can't win in the SEC and it's all he has. Let the boy have his outlet.

Has this guy even been offered the job? Every time I check this board, it's a different candidate in the lead!

And also, question for Tennessee fans. Do you like Jim Chaney? Think he's a good OC? Just curious since we're looking for a new OC. Thanks!

Many people seem to be forgetting that Tennessee fans, although admittedly afraid of change, ultimately hold the program to the same expectations as Alabama and Florida. And with good reason, too.
