Despite a huge push from several influential boosters for Kirby Smart, Butch Jones is definitely trending as the next head coach at Tennessee.

Look Crompdaddy, Im not all in here trying to sell you on Jones but I do believe it would be a solid hire for Tenn. I remember when we hired Dinardo from Vandy , Man I was throwing a crap fit, faxing letters to Joe Dean and BOS at that time saying , how in the hell could we hire a guy that coulnt even beat Hallman , the worst coach by far ever in the SEC. However, Dinardo did bring back the magic and got LSU heaDED in the right direction before he became too hard headed. Certainly improved the LSU program and was not in too terrible of shape for Saban to take over. Anyway, IMO if JOnes accepts I believe you will see your team getting back in the hunt over there in the East side of the bracket.
