Did Biddy confirm it himself or simply cite Schaap’s post?

From all accounts, Wommack wasn't a serious consideration at this time due to the Pittman era. He is an alum however. I for one believe he'll be a good one one day but they can't risk that right now. I could be wrong because we've fumbled a few.

I was hoping Alex Golesh would be LSU's hire, but he never showed up as a possibility. Homerun hire for Arkansas.

Look like Biddy is simply citing Schaap, not independently confirming.

What's being discussed is what Otis Kirk posted in response to Golesh being a finalist by ESPN on Saturday.

quote:

Of the 4 coaches they named as finalists two didn't even interview at Arkansas and were not finalists. I will say this Golesh had no interest and thinks he will be the HC at Ole Miss if Kiffin leaves.

I’m honestly jealous. Golesh was my number 1 if Lane did happen to turn down LSU. Plus we will have to play him every year.

*if this is true*

Surprised he took Arkansas this early. Ole Miss and Auburn are no doubt better jobs. I think we’re learning how a lot of these better programs view these P4 coaches. If they were real candidates for these bigger jobs, they aren’t taking Arkansas and Oklahoma State as the first dominos.

It seems to me G5 may be a stepping stone to low level P4 and low lever P4 is the pool for great jobs

Seems like no one else can confirm this. Radio bro got used and abused or out scooped everyone.

Kodi Burns is Golesh’s OC so I could see Schaap getting info from people Kodi knows here.

I'm a little surprised Bobby P didn't find a way to slither his way back in, to be honest.

He’s headed to Auburn

Likely his wife had quite a bit to say in this…

Great fit on the surface IMO. Dam solid coach. Huge upgrade from the past half a decade or so
