I would think it expedites the Lincoln Riley hire, if that's actually the hire. But there will be dolts on here that will be screaming for Aranda at that point. People who get excited off of one win instead of an entire body of work.

I’ll be watching that game pretty close. Looking for any signs the OU is quitting on Riley (I guess even BU quitting on Aranda). With all the smoke surrounding Riley, we’ll find out exactly what the team knows at least.

It's a win/win. Makes it easier to hire Riley, and elevates Aranda as a potential back-up.

If Baylor beats OU, I'm going to kidnap Aranda, bring him to BR and make him sign the contract. I know it's a bit extreme and illegal, but I think it is in the best interest of both parties.

Before I thought Riley was actually possible, Aranda was my choice, but if there's a chance we can get Riley we have to go that route first. If that doesn't work, then I think Dave should be the next option up personally.

I'd be really happy with Aranda. He's not the big name but if that's a fall back option we're in really good shape.

If Aranda beats Riley that would speak VOLUMES. There is a pretty large disparity in talent between the two.

Aranda defense is flying around right now. Their 2 safeties are both really good players especially Pitre.

Baylor looks really good, so far. Either way, I think Aranda will do a great job as a HC.
