Dude, we just fired our coach and hired what looks to be a good one. It was a failed 2 year experiment. We still went to BCS bowls 3 of the last 5 normal seasons.
Meanwhile Oregon is losing their 3rd coach of the last 4 to leave for a better job. The 4th of the 4 is a bozo who they smartly fired. When Phil Knight dies, Oregon is done, unless they find a local/lifer, like Wilcox for the position.

Is he not the head coach of Cal? UW didn’t hire him, you must have missed the news. He was rumored to Washington, but that was just his camp getting his name in the news as he is looking for a better job.

If those coaches were at Udub they would have left you too.
Neither Oregon or Udub is a top tier job. So, what's your point besides needing to fill words on a page because you can't honestly respond that you know Washington is NOTHING.
Funny thing....I always wanted Chris at Oregon. I'm honestly shocked he could only accomplish something ONLY while Oregon was down with 3 coaches in 3 years.

UW’s best hire in modern history was from Kent State. You are ignorant about many things. Heck, a few posts back you thought UW hired Wilcox. ??

Telling me if this guy doesn't take the job you can stay till next year then your gone.
How do you expect him to recruit knowing that next year he is gone no matter what.
Miami is going to Miami I guess if I'm Napier I'm already telling recruits in South Florida come here if you want to play for a coach you know will be here.

And since then after every mistake you've made coach wise they stayed looking at small schools....yes? Uh no....read between the lines.
This choice at a small school is because your choices were very limited. Yiu didn't have many viable choices that would even consider you. You'll play stupid though.

He isn't a Husky as in a coach.
He's been a Husky since he took a job there. He became a Husky and will forever be one.
As I said, even if accepted, he isn't good enough. He is barely good enough for the Pac.
Oregon will find someone. They will have to accept that most coaches will eventually leave or hit lightning in a bottle with someone willing to stay in Eugene.
UO will have some extremely high bills to cover once Uncle Phil is gone. Those buildings and expenses are paid for now but not forever.
Remember when Udub couldn't offer the big city to athlete's when recruiting them?
What do they say now when recruiting a kid? Just mostly peaceful protesters

Lol, nice try! You thought UW hired him. Anyone here can read your posts above (unless you have since edited them). What pathetic attempt to save face!
Wilcox was brought in by Sark, after Holt was fired for that Alamo Bowl game vs. RG3, and followed him to USC two years later.

I can’t wait for you to a whistle a different tune about Wilcox after Oregon hires him on Wednesday.
As for the coach we just hired, he is a winner everywhere he has been. He was supposedly choice #2, but the choice with higher upside. He is highly respected in the football community. It’s about time UW makes a Mike Lude type of hire again.
