First thing Miami needs is talent and a culture change, he can bring that. If he has any common sense, he can change his offensive philosophy.

That's about as far away from Utah as you can get. Makes sense

That's pretty weird. In current days, Oregon is a much better job than Miami.

But after looking it up, Miami is his alma mater. So I guess it makes a bit more sense, maybe.

It's not. If you have zero national championships, you can't call yourself a good job. Potentially good maybe, but no one has yet to make Oregon a destination job. Even Chip Kelly only saw Oregon as a stepping stone.

Oregon doesn't have the ceiling that Miami has. And maybe due to the lack of facilities and support, Miami doesn't have the sustainability that Oregon does, but at least you can catch lightning in a bottle and win a NC at Miami.

Oregon had this nuclear-strength offense for years, a Heisman trophy winner, the largest sports apparel label in the world behind it, and what to show for it? You have all that and still couldn't win a NC?

All of the NIL money and uniform combinations in the world can't make up for shitty location.

Great recruiter but Oregon has had much better teams with better coaching and "worse" recruits.

He's gonna go one day. Might as well go now.

Oregon would do well to poach Kiffin from Ole Miss. He’d be a perfect and actually better fit for them.

Oregon isn't taking someone as selfish as Kiffin.

They want stability not a mover.

They should hire Joe Brady. He won't be going anywhere for a while.

After 3 of their last 4 coaches (if MC to U happens) ditched them for better jobs, who can blame them? If stability is the key factor for Oregon, they bring Justin Wilcox home.

He's a Husky now, so frick him.

Eta....he's not worthy anyway.

Terrible recruiting, terrible offensive coaches. I see why you think they should hire him.

No clue.

Terrible timing for them. Great for you.

Has to make the Dawgs feel good about themselves with the shitty arse situation they're in.

Most people would argue Miami is not a better job currently.

This isn't the old days like when the Huskies were a relevant consistent program.

No, he is a Cal Golden Bears at the moment. Wilcox grew up in Junction City to a legendary high school coach and is an Oregon alum. His current DC at Cal, Peter Sirmon, also played at Oregon. He is the stability hire for Oregon.

Cristobal is a Miami native and alum. If the stadium rumor is true, he would be stupid not leave.

Also, best P12 each season recently:

2015 : Stanford
2016 : Washington
2017 : Washington
2018 : Washington
2019 : Oregon
2021 : Utah
