You must not read this board much.

They have frick you money. LSU does not.

What objective standards or measurements are you basing this on?

quote:

Endowment wise they clean us up and if there were an alumni to $ ratio of both schools available it would be glaring to see how much more money they donate compared to our alumni.

Football coaches aren't paid from endowments.

In your scenarios each coach stayed put.

Don't act like it doesn't happen. One of the greatest coaches of all time saw a greater opportunity, even though it involved less money.

After turning down numerous job offers during his time at Kentucky, legendary coach Paul “Bear” Bryant announced on Feb. 4, 1954, he was leaving Kentucky for Texas A&M despite the $15,000-per-year salary in College Station being “a good bit” less than what he was paid at Kentucky.

The ironic part of the story is Bear turned down LSU to go make less money at A&M. Now Jimbo may do the opposite. It's all about legacy with these guys today. They already have more than enough money.

Agreed, which is why it’s hard to imagine Jimbo wanting to leave his current situation for a program that was nothing before Saban, leveled off under Miles, and then cratered under a mouth breathing moron.

Would he win a title at LSU? Sure. Maybe more than one. But then his legacy would forever be tied to the trio above. And that ain’t it chief.

The possibility of Jimbo leaving appears to be real. Their top choice to replace Jimbo (if he leaves for LSU) is apparently Urban Meyer.

Well let’s be neighborly and let aTm keep Jimbo and we get Urban.

The buyout is that the Aggies will always have the highest offer.

Yes. $100M. A&M isn't gauging interest in anyone. Jimbo is not leaving. There is some serious hubris on this board.

A&M secretly gauging interest from several coaches

If they are secretly reaching out, and you know they are secretly doing this and posting it here, then A&M is doing a damn piss poor job of keeping the secret……..so, unless you are actually in the know, calling BS.

The revenue is close to equal and LSU High ups can do 15 mill plus if they choose to so saying LSU cant is ridiculous LSU boosters has as much as a&m when it comes down to what will really be spent

So LSU and aTm reached out to Urban Meyer.

Show us proof.

I’m a dumbass and you’re posting that crap on a random board with zero evidence. C’mon bruh.

I want Urban, he would be my first choice, but try to understand what you’re claiming.
Are you the chick he was fingering at the bar or something?
