I've actually never stated he's leaving. A&M is setting up a contingency plan, just in case. What the hell do people not understand about this? LOL This is why I don't post what I know more.

We are all laughing at your post about Urban having been contacted by A&M! We did that when we replaced RC decades ago, it was between him and freaking Franchione! We chose very poorly!

But this notion that you know this to be a fact when NOT ONE buster I know has even mentioned it, is damn laughable!!!

I don't blame y'all for laughing! The notion he'd even go there is absolutely hysterical, but all I can do is pass on what I've heard. I believed it to be so ludicrous that I seriously contemplated just keeping it to myself, but that is indeed what I was told by a trusted person in that region of Texas high society circle, and he's normally been right before. That includes Jimbo to A&M several years back. I'm not opposed to the idea that someone bullshite him. That's probably what happened. I do agree that it's laughable Meyer would ever go there.

We don’t want Meyer, we did a while back but not really interested in him. He is damaged goods.

We can agree to disagree. That's not just Aggie fans, but LSU fans too. I'd take him at LSU in a heartbeat. His record is second only to Saban. The baggage normally wouldn't be worth the risks, but a coach with a record like his is an exception. Just my opinion.

Not a bad opinion, I just don’t see him as a good fit at A&M now, then again I said the same thing about Jimbo….

I like Jimbo. I wanted him badly when O was hired. Never in my wildest dreams did I believe O would coach our greatest season ever, but the man just lost all of his hunger immediately after his divorce, and he certainly has proven he can't sustain success in the SEC. Jimbo can. I believe that. Now can Jimbo make the necessary changes to get A&M over the hump? That remains to be seen. While he's a great coach, he certainly seems to be a stubborn man. The offense needs a slight upgrade. That's what has made Saban legendary. He's stubborn in many ways, but he knows when to make the necessary changes to sustain success. The worst decision LSU ever made was not cutting ties with Miles immediately when Saban allegedly inquired about returning to LSU, but it is what it is. We've done alright, considering.

Haha Exactly. After the first 13-15 win season, nobody would remember that shite. It's amazing how winning causes amnesia, isn't it? LOL

I recall similar stuff from Aggie posters about Woodward.

Not saying Jimbo is for certain coming to LSU but it sure does seem like Woodward intends to make him say no.

“Meyer would never go to A&M. Never.”

Why not, College Station has strip clubs…

Urban Meyer will not go to LSU . Especially with the Title IX issues pending . SW doesn’t want any more headaches . I just feel Jimbo stays at A&M . He is 60 , has a nice ranch , gets along with admin , etc . Does LR go to LSU ? I am not so sure .
