The possibility of Jimbo leaving appears to be real. Their top choice to replace Jimbo (if he leaves for LSU) is apparently Urban Meyer.

Maybe Jimbo wants away from Texas since they are joining SEC as well where he can have all of LA to himself and not be compared to Texas every year and then he doesn't have to worry about that rivalry

They're getting their ducks in a row in case we offer Jimbo. They either plan to let him walk, or they have a maximum offer they're willing to match and want to be prepared in case we exceed that number.
