They are going to remove the interim tag from Robinson and name him full head coach. This is the Matt Luke saga all over again.

All we need is a generational QB and it's 15-0 baby!

Yea good thing removing the interim tag from the DL coach and naming him head coach after a very public and humiliating coaching search debacle has totally never worked out anywhere amirite

He could be Matt Luke, or he could be Dabo. All I know is the players will run through a wall for him. And he will be able to effectively recruit against Texas, OU, and LSU.

Better than a career mediocre coach

Bjork is fired. You don’t piss off most of the BMA’s and retain your job

Bjork is the most incompetent AD in college athletics.

I was told this has been the case - how has the recruiting been working out? It's certainly not going to get better than present with UT in the SEC

Rah rah goes away pretty quickly once adversity hits. You need an actual coach if you want to be an actual problem, or you're just going to be a 6-6 to 8-4 nuisance

Gonna take a break from Aggie football for a bit. It’s been laughable how he’s handled things the last two weeks

The regular season isn't even over yet (Army / Navy game). You really think that some coaches wouldn't crawl over broken glass to coach in the SEC? Hell, go hire the Memphis headcoach.

All I know is hiring this Robinson guy is going to be a big big mistake.

In no particular order:

Elko
Sumrall
Jonathan Smith (unless he chose Michigan State over A&M)
Fritz
Klieman
Leipold
Chadwell
Lashlee
Cignetti

Well it use to be Joe Alleva. Bjork definitely fits that mold.

PJ Fleck is a funnier and better option than this.

Some will compare this to the Orgeron hire but other than the interim title, their careers are nothing alike to this point.

Orgeron was twenty years older, for better or worse had SEC head coaching experience, had coached 6 games as interim coach, and had been a position coach in both college and the NFL for over 20 years and a DC as well.

Robinson has been a Co-coordinator for one year and an interim head coach for ONE game. And that is at any level.

He might blow the doors off, who knows, but this looks to be a very lazy, borderline laughable anti-Fisher hire.

Ehh, it's not that big of a deal. Robinson will get a cheap, low-no buyout contract like Arnett did this year. If he sucks in yr 1, he will get canned on the cheap.

Then Aggy will make a other terrible hire after that.

Until they start losing games. Our players said the same thing about Matt Luke. And the best we ever did with him was 6-6. And that team had the following players.

AJ Brown
DK Metcalf
Dawson Knox
Marquis Haynes
Van Jefferson
Greg Little
Benito Jones
CJ Moore

Sounds like he has all the leverage
